What is Ujuzi Center?
Ujuzi Center is a premium, technology-centered innovation hub located in the suburbs of Nairobi. We offer a comprehensive ecosystem that combines vibrant co-working spaces, a structured startup incubator, and expert advisory services for young engineers and tech entrepreneurs.
Where are you located?
We are situated in a serene, green suburban area of Kamakis on the newly upgraded Eastern Bypass, providing a quiet, focused environment away from the city center's traffic, yet highly accessible for techies and partners.
What are your operating hours?
Our co-working space and labs are accessible 24/7 for dedicated desk and private office members. General hot-desking and community access run from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
What kind of facilities do you provide?
We offer high-speed fiber internet, ergonomic workstations, private meeting rooms, an Ideation Zone, and fully equipped hardware labs featuring 3D printers, robotics kits, and electronics testing benches.
Do I have to be a software engineer to join?
While we are deeply technology-focused, our doors are open to hardware innovators, UX/UI designers, data analysts, tech-adjacent creatives, and anyone looking to build within a forward-thinking community.
How does the incubation program work?
Our incubator helps early-stage tech startups move from ideation to market launch. We provide selected cohorts with structured milestones, physical workspace, and direct integration into our hardware and software testing pipelines.
What does your Advisory Service offer?
We connect innovators with seasoned tech veterans, legal experts, and financial consultants. Our advisors assist with product architecture, intellectual property (IP) protection, financial modeling, and preparing your startup for investor pitch decks.
Do you fund startups?
While we do not directly fund every project, we provide incubation cohorts with direct access to venture capital networks, angel investors, and local grant opportunities through our regular pitch nights and demo days.
